  • Atlas Mountains (Imlil):
A trip through an incredible landscape to the village of Imlil, the starting point for trekking in the Toubkal massif. Walks of varying length and difficulty or mule rides. A visit to the spectacular setting of the Tamatert Guesthouse can be combines with tea or lunch either at the berber house or in a berber village.

  • Imlil & Plateau de Kik and Lake Takerkoust:
Our most populer trip, an excursion combining breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. A high quality lunch at Tamatert Guest House, a ride through Moulay Brahim to the scrub-like scenery of the Plateau de Kik and finishing for tea at Lake Takerkoust. Shows the splendid variety of the Moroccan landscape. A chance to stop for a camel ride en-route.

  • Ourika Valley and Setti Fatma water Falls:
A welcome break form the heat of Marrakech. A leisurely lunch in the mountain air, or a more strenuous scramble to the falls from the wonderful setting of Setti Fatma.

  •  Ouirgane Valley:
A pretty location and place for chilling with a little light walking on the side. Lunch or stay at La Roseraie, Au Sanglier Qui Fume or Chez Momo. Walk up the wooded valley walls to hidden houses. A lake is forming from the newly constructed barrage. A couple of hours drive takes you to Tin Mal, a rare chance for non-Muslims to enter a mosque in Morocco.

  • Ouzoud Waterfalls:
Morocco’s highest falls, about a two and a half/three hour drive form Marrakech, so a long day trip. Best seen in the spring after the winter rains.

  • Essaouira:
A charming seaside town, the haunt of artists, musicians and hippies. Though it is likely to be a long day. Enjoy a stroll around the ramparts, visit an art gallery, thuya wood workshops and eat freshly caught fish at the quayside open air food stalls.

  • Camel Trek in Atlas Mountains:
You will be picked up Marrakech in the morning. The drive takes 45 minutes from Marrakech. You will meet your camel and be given some basic instructions before starting the trek from a hamlet, Moulay Brahim; it follows a route through juniper and pine forest, passing many villages near Asni, with fine views of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Lunches may be served in a Berber house or near the river or in the forest. Overall a 5 hour trek. A longer trek can be arranged. After the camel trek, you would spend the night in one of the Berber villages and on the 2nd day walk for two or more hours near Asni in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. It’s easy trek to Moderate.

  • Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou:
Across the High Atlas chain through the Tizi N’Tichka pass, an imposing landscape with high mountains and traditional Berber villages. This full day excursion will take you across the High Atlas chain through the Tizi N’Tichka pass, an imposing landscape with high mountains and traditional Berber villages.
